Gracelle Reyes-Arch1101

This is a series of abstract portraiture I made last year in 2017 entitled My Day. Each individual on the different panels are people who I know well, so this certain work has a personal connection to me. I used acrylic paint on canvas panels which ranged from different sizes(6" X 6", 5" X 7" and 4" X 5.5"). A palette knife was used to paint and create a rough-like texture. The different colours compliment the different facial expressions each individual is portraying.

This is the Sharifi-ha house located in Tehran, Russia. The residential building can adapt to different climates to give tenants ultimate comfort. During the summer the house or pods rotate allowing natural light and heat to enter the rooms and during winter it is positioned horizontally and closed off to keep the house warmer. The interior of the house is just as amazing as the exterior as it includes many facilities and a separate area for the family and events/gathering places. The interior is kept minimalistic, making the house feel more spacious.

An image I took during my holiday at El Nido, Philippines with my family. The Philippines is an archipelago that consists of many islands. El Nido is such a beautiful place with its clear, cerulean waters, white-sand beaches and the locals too. This certain area was in one of the Big Lagoons that is visited by a lot of tourists. The lagoon is surrounded by beautiful black sharped limestone cliffs. I had to climb a bit to take this shot, which was obviously worth it.
